EDUCATION AND THE RECOVERY TEAM
Dr. Scholl, is a strong believer in the team concept, particularly when it comes to recovery from an injury. Patients, therapists, trainers, nutritionists and other health practitioners all can play a role, along with Dr. Scholl, in guiding recovery. The patient’s role is often the most critical to a successful outcome, and the better each patient understands their injury, the better they can participate in their own rehabilitation.
We have included some educational resource links here from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, to help patients learn more about their injury, and common treatment options. Dr. Scholl, is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
