A Brief History
Dr. Scholl is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopy, knee surgery and shoulder surgery. He grew up in Chicago, and after undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis, he attended Northwestern University Medical School. Following this, he completed an orthopaedic residency with Emory University Department of Orthopaedics in Atlanta. While in Atlanta, he was involved with care of athletes for the Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Tech University. He then completed a Fellowship in advanced arthroscopic techniques of the knee and shoulder at the University of Utah.
After his fellowship, Dr. Scholl worked in Ogden, Utah. His time in Ogden included working as a Team Physician for Weber State University and the Ogden Raptors. Dr. Scholl has returned to Salt Lake City and is a Team Physician for The US Ski Team, USA Rugby and a physician for the Solitude Mountain Resort. He is an avid outdoorsman and an Inspired Mountain Ambassador for Cloudveil Mountain Apparel.
Dr. Scholl is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
