Dr. Scholl is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopy, knee surgery and shoulder surgery. He grew up in Chicago, and after undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis, he attended Northwestern University Medical School. Following this, he completed an orthopaedic residency with Emory University Department of Orthopaedics in Atlanta. While in Atlanta, he was involved with care of athletes for the Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Tech University. He then completed a Fellowship in advanced arthroscopic techniques of the knee and shoulder at the University of Utah.
After his fellowship, Dr. Scholl decided to make Utah his home and lives and practices in Salt Lake City. He is a Team Physician for The US Ski Team, USA Rugby and a physician for the Solitude Mountain Resort. He served as Team Physician for ReAL Salt Lake for four years, including earning a championship ring in the 2009 campaign and is the Head Team Physician for the Utah Blaze of the AFL.
Dr. Scholl and his family all enjoy the outdoors and can be found skiing, running, biking, fishing and camping throughout the state.
Dr. Scholl is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
